Dawn Kasper will give a series of 24 consecutive one-hour performances to one audience member at a time at architect William E. Foster’s historic 1939 Hotel Shangri-la in Santa Monica, a great example of Streamline Modern Architecture and Art Deco Design.
Each performance will be intimate and unique, and could include watching television, singing a song, reading a book, walking around the hotel, ordering room service, making art, sleeping, taking a nap, telling a story, listening to records, drinking a beer, or talking about the history of the hotel experience.
July 24, 9:00 pm to July 25, 9:00 pm (24 hours). Free; ticket details to come.
