Moderated by Frances Anderton of KCRW’s DnA, this conversation will address the question:  If Los Angeles is truly a global architectural capital, why are so many of its architects better appreciated elsewhere?  Join a lively conversation exploring the influence of LA-based architects outside and inside of the city.  Speakers include architects Neil Denari and Michael Maltzan.

This talk is part of a dynamic series of panels examining the ideas, issues, and figures presented in A New Sculpturalism: Contemporary Architecture from Southern California.

Ahmanson Auditorium at MOCA Grand Avenue.  Attendance is free with museum admission; RSVP highly recommended for guaranteed seating. For reservations and updated information on additional participants and programming, visit INFO 213/621-1745 or
