Panel Discussion, In Search of a Definition
250 S. Grand Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90012
Moderated by Frances Anderton of KCRW’s DnA, this conversation will address whether “sculpturalism” is an apt description for the work of architects featured in this exhibition. Is there a more generative or accurate category, or is the mere act of definition troublesome? Engage with multiple perspectives on this timely topic. Speakers include Los Angeles Times architecture critic Christopher Hawthorne, and architects Tom Wiscombe and Greg Lynn.
This talk is part of a dynamic series of panels examining the ideas, issues, and figures presented in A New Sculpturalism: Contemporary Architecture from Southern California.
